Note Regarding Shift Reminders

Shift reminders are scheduled to go out the Friday before your shift in the evening. ProTip: If you were unable to sign up to volunteer right away, click on the button above, beginning Friday after 6 PM to check for volunteer openings due to cancellations.

Shift Check-in Time

A quick reminder that the morning shift is from 10:30 AM to approximately 12:30 PM and the afternoon shift is from 12:15 PM to approximately 4:00 PM. Kindly arrive by your start time.

Regarding Food & Drink During Your Shift

Volunteers are encouraged to bring their own food and drink to get through their shift. Feed The Hungry has committed to Sponsors that all funds donated go to the feeding of our guests. Please do not take any of the food meant for the guests during your shift. All unconsumed food are either to be kept for the next Sunday's session or brought to the Mustard Seed. 

Do ask your Area Lead or the Beverages Team for a drink if you really need one. If you do need to eat or hydrate during your shift, kindly do so discreetly - either outside or behind the screens onstage - but always out of sight from the guests.

Please remember to: 

• Review the Code of Conduct
• Wear close-toed shoes or you will not be permitted in the Hall.
• Please review the Model Code of Conduct.
• Have something to keep your long hair back.
• Leave your valuables at home or in your car. 
• Arrive at St. Mary's Parish Hall (221 18th Avenue SW) on time. Parking is available on the south side of the Parish Hall off 19th Avenue. 
• Call Feed the Hungry at 403-218-5532 or reply to this note if you are unable to make your shift.

Honor your commitment to serve when you sign up. Know that we have hundreds of volunteers who wish to serve. When you sign up and then don't show up, you deprive others an opportunity to serve this ministry!
