Volunteering at Feed the Hungry

Each meal service requires some 71 volunteers. Usually, sponsor recruit and bring volunteers for their sponsored Sunday. Regular Feed the Hungry volunteers fill in the remaining spots. Volunteer opportunities include:

• Hall Set-Up
• Main Door Hospitality
• Family Door Hospitality & Hamper Distribution
• Table Service
• Beverage Service
• Dessert Service
• Main Entrée (Plating) Service
• Recycling Service
• Replenish Service

In addition, a small team of volunteers are needed during the week to help prepare for the Sunday service.

If you are a new volunteer, you will need to complete an application to access our events and shifts if you haven't already. You can access the application from the main volunteer page after clicking "I am a new volunteer". Your information will be kept confidential and will help us find the most satisfying and appropriate volunteer opportunity for you.
